MessengInfo is currently in beta and may return mock, incomplete, or test data. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided through the Service.

The information provided by MessengInfo is for informational purposes only and should NOT be used as the sole basis for business, legal, or financial decisions. Always verify critical information independently through official sources.

2. Data Sources

Information provided by MessengInfo may come from the following sources:

2.1. Public Records and Government Databases

• State business registration databases (Secretary of State records)
• IRS records (Employer Identification Numbers)
• Federal and state regulatory filings
• Court records and legal filings
• Publicly available corporate records

2.2. Transportation and Logistics Registries (Future)

• Open federal safety and carrier registries (for example, FMCSA and SAFER snapshots)
• Publicly available datasets describing carrier authority, insurance status, and safety metrics
• Other open or contractually permitted logistics-related datasets that do not expose DPPA-regulated DMV driver records or official MVRs

2.3. Third-Party Data Providers

• Commercial business data aggregators
• Professional data providers specializing in company or carrier information
• Financial and risk data services used for B2B compliance and underwriting context (with appropriate contractual and legal safeguards)

2.4. Beta and Testing Data

• Mock or test data during beta phase
• Sample data for demonstration purposes
• Simulated risk scores and indicators

Important: During beta phase, some or all data may be mock or test data for demonstration purposes only.

3. No Guarantee of Accuracy

We do NOT guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided through the Service. Information may be:

• Outdated: Data sources may not be updated in real-time
• Incomplete: Some companies may have limited public records
• Inaccurate: Errors may occur in data collection, processing, or transmission
• Mock/Test: During beta, data may be simulated or test data
• Missing: Some information may not be available from our sources

You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any information before using it for business, legal, or financial purposes.

4. NOT a Consumer Reporting Agency or MVR Provider

MessengInfo is NOT a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

The Service does NOT provide:

• Consumer credit reports or credit scores
• Consumer reports for employment, credit, insurance, or housing decisions
• Motor vehicle reports (MVRs) or state DMV driver history reports
• Guarantees of creditworthiness or financial standing
• Compliance with FCRA requirements

You may NOT use information from MessengInfo for purposes covered by the FCRA, including:

• Employment screening or hiring decisions
• Credit decisions or loan underwriting
• Insurance underwriting or coverage decisions
• Tenant screening or rental decisions
• Any other FCRA-covered purpose

DPPA / DMV notice: MessengInfo does not act as a provider of Driver's Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) regulated DMV data. We do not supply official state DMV records or MVRs, and any logistics or vehicle-related information we may show is derived from open or business-appropriate registries and is provided for informational purposes only. You must not treat MessengInfo reports as a substitute for official DMV or MVR records.

5. Risk Scores and Indicators

Risk scores, compliance indicators, and other metrics provided by the Service are:

• Informational only: Not guaranteed to be accurate or predictive
• Algorithm-based: Generated using proprietary algorithms and data analysis
• Not financial advice: Do not constitute financial, legal, or investment advice
• May be simulated: During beta, risk scores may be mock or test values

Risk scores should NOT be used as the sole basis for business decisions. Always conduct independent due diligence and consult with qualified professionals.

6. Use at Your Own Risk

You use the Service and all information provided at your own risk. MessengInfo and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Any losses or damages resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information
• Business decisions made based on information from the Service
• Any reliance on risk scores, indicators, or other metrics
• Errors or omissions in data from third-party sources
• Technical failures, downtime, or unavailability of the Service

7. Third-Party Sources

MessengInfo aggregates information from multiple third-party sources. We do not control, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of data from these sources. We are not responsible for:

• Errors or inaccuracies in third-party data
• Delays in data updates from third-party sources
• Missing or incomplete data from third-party sources
• Changes in third-party data availability or formats

8. Updates and Changes

Data sources, data collection methods, and data processing algorithms may change without notice. We reserve the right to:

• Change or discontinue data sources
• Modify data processing methods
• Update risk scoring algorithms
• Change the format or structure of returned data

9. Independent Verification Recommended

We strongly recommend that you verify all critical information independently through:

10. Limitation of Liability

11. Coverage, State Caveats, and Disputes

Coverage for company, logistics, or other datasets may vary by state, jurisdiction, and data source. Some states or registries may not be covered, may be partially covered, or may update on different cadences. Where possible, reports and downloadable exports (including PDFs, when available) will include:

• A summary of primary data sources (for example, "FMCSA snapshot" or "Secretary of State business registry")
• An "as of" date or timestamp for each source or dataset
• High-level notes about gaps or limitations in state or federal coverage

If you believe a report contains inaccurate information about a company or carrier, you should:

• Verify the underlying records directly with the relevant registry or regulator (for example, Secretary of State, FMCSA)
• Contact those authorities to correct the underlying data, where applicable
• Contact us with details so we can review and, if appropriate, refresh or correct our copy of the data

MessengInfo does not control or override official government records. Where there is a conflict, the underlying official registry controls, and our role is limited to aggregating and surfacing information on an informational basis.
